Join our Services_APAC team within Services division in Australia as Leading Hand (Turbine Service) to help us take our business to the next level.
Reporting to the Works Manager, your primary work environment would be part of a team that specialises in repaid and overhaul of rotating equipment.
In this role you will be accountable for:
- Revision of Department job schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities and the availability and capability of workers, parts, materials, machines and equipment.
- Quoting and estimating of jobs if designated by the Works Manager as well as document jobs to include health and safety compliance and quality assurance.
- Identify training needs for Department personnel and ensure Department personnel remain up to date with all Work Instructions.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, development, performance management, discipline, motivation and safe working practices of Department personnel.
- Understand the workflow in the relevant Department and work with Department personnel in the scheduling of jobs and allocation of resources so maximum efficiency and economy of operations is achieved with each job.
Eligibility
- Trade qualified or similar degree in Turbine repairs
- Sound written skills
- Sound mechanical Aptitude
- Valid Manual drivers licence or ability to obtain
- experience in delivering high quality outcomes.
