Warranty Manager - Full Time - BurgosSpain

 

Join our Energy  team within Flow Equipment  division in Spain as Warranty Manager to help us to take the Project Management Department to the next level. 

 

In this role you will be accountable for processing questions and technical reports of complex incidents in Spain and abroad.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Telephone and written communication to solve complex technical questions and incident notifications.

  • Organize and conduct meetings with international customers, suppliers and internal Sulzer interfaces.

  • Analysis of problems and identification of technical solutions.

  • Inspection of measurements and evaluation of customer systems in close collaboration with specialized departments.

  • Clarification and resolution of customer complaints.

  • Cooperation with specialized departments and/or suppliers to initiate corrective measures, ensure the availability of customer systems and avoid errors in a sustainable manner.

  • Creation and preparation of solid technical reports for documentation, improvement of product quality and improvement of internal processes.

  • Carry out commercial clarifications of warranty projects independently.

  • Transfer of costs to customers and/or suppliers

 

What you bring to Sulzer:

  • Technical studies (ideally mechanical engineering, process engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience/knowledge.
  • Min 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • A good knowledge of pump construction or comparable industry is an advantage
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, SAP R/3, etc.)
  • Negotiation and communication skills 
  • Familiar with the use of T&Cs: Obligations and rights generated by a contract
  • Entrepreneurial, sociable and customer-oriented mentality.
  • Willingness to travel around the world (up to approx. 30%)
  • High resilience and ability to work in a team
