Worskhop Support Technician - Full Time - BristolUnited Kingdom

Join our team as an Workshop Support Technician at Sulzer Bristol, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient operations. You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and performance across the site, while supporting key production and logistics activities.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Safely handle the delivery and collection of goods from suppliers and customer sites.
  • Perform daily checks on equipment like overhead cranes and forklift trucks, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Support production by assisting with material movement, unloading shipments, and maintaining an organised workspace.
  • Carry out grit blasting, coating, and painting to meet project specifications.
  • Actively contribute to Lean initiatives, including 5S, and ensure waste is properly segregated and resources are used efficiently.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • FLT (Forklift Truck) licence.
  • Relevant experience within a related industry.
  • Experience in stock/inventory control.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
  • General computer skills.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
