Join our Services_AME team within Services division in United States as Repair Engineer to help us take Sulzer to the next level.
In this role you will be accountable for:
- Complete disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly work instruction packages under the guidance of the Service Center Manager. This includes generating work orders in compliance with our internal procedures and policies and creating inspection documentation.
- Analyze inspection results and collaborate with our team to determine the scope of supply required to repair equipment.
- Generate Repair Proposals, including labor hours, purchase requirements, work instructions, and total cost, under the supervision of the Service Center Manager.
- Create and/or review drawings in accordance with our internal procedures and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards.
- Procure all materials, services, and equipment required for repair jobs at the service center, ensuring delivery commitments are met.
- Prepare and coordinate all inbound/outbound shipping tasks required for the final transportation of repairs or parts, including all shipping, import, and export documentation as required.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Discipline (Engineering preferred) or closely related field or equivalent work-related experience.
- Two years of experience in a closely related job/industry is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
- Proactive organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental, Safety, Health (ESH), and ASME.
- Remarkable communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
- Knowledge of American Petroleum Institute (API) standards, Welding Properties and Procedures, Pump failure Analysis, and familiarity with single, multi, horizontal, and vertical pumps is preferred.
- Systems Applications and Products (SAP) knowledge is a plus.
