We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Services_AME  team in United States .

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  

•  Manage, direct and provide leadership to all operational aspects of assigned Service Center

   (capital expense, quality, cost of goods sold, and delivery)      
•  Supervise Cost Estimation, Project Coordination, Mfg. Eng., Production Control, all direct labor staff,

   Hydraulic Testing, Master Scheduling, and administrative staff.       
•  Work closely with the established sales network to secure volume levels laid out in budget and

   Mid-Range Plan        
•  Participate in special studies and analyses as needed 
•  Work directly with other Sulzer Service Centers to coordinate continued integration of

   Global Manufacturing Network in support of cost reduction programs and targets  
•  Work directly with established sales network and Alliance management structure in order to

   secure strategic alliances that benefit and support Sulzer’s Mid-Range Plan objectives
•  Regular and reliable attendance

     

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

        
•  Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide safety program which includes following all

   safety policies and procedures.        
•  Supports and cooperates in company-wide Total Quality Management (TQM) effort        
•  Performs other miscellaneous assignments and research projects as assigned

        

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Service Center

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Business experience involving operations, planning, finance, and marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • 5-7 years experience with pumps or similar equipment preferred
  • Ability to develop and foster a team environment
