Join our Services EAPA team within Services division in Australia as Service Centre Manager to help us take Sulzer to the next level.
In this role you will be accountable for:
- Overseeing approximately 40-45 Electrical Fitters, Mechanical Fitters, Machinists, Apprentices and providing direction to the Works Manager.
- Ensuring works are being conducted to support customer orders and are being executed in accordance with the contract, schedules, and available resources.
- Providing continuous feedback and coaching direct reports.
- Driving key operational performance indicator across the service centre such as forecasting, margin, labour utilisation, engineering expertise, quality, and safety culture.
- Monthly quarterly & end of year management reporting.
- Managing the Service Centre KPIs and ensuring aligned with corporate financial targets.
- Conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with Senior Management in Australia.
- Ensuring efficient organisation and management across the service centre.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor’s degree or Trade qualification in Business and/or Electrical Engineering or related discipline within the industry.
- A technical background in electrical engineering / trade is essential.
- 10+ years’ demonstrated experience in a similar leadership role.
- Excellent negotiation and sales support skills
- Strong communication skills & ability to engage and work with others.
- Ability to motivate and challenge direct reports and give direction to the whole organisation.
