Sulzer Chemtech Separation Technology (ST, part of Sulzer’s Chemtech division) develops, designs and produces mass transfer equipment for separation processes like distillation, absorption, stripping, evaporation, phase separation, liquid-liquid extraction and crystallization. We now have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Technical Sales Specialist to support and help grow our activities in the Benelux territories. Based in our Breda Sulzer Chemtech office, you will be supporting and closely working with the experienced local sales team and supported by our application specialists at our HQ in Switzerland. We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist with experience ideally in the environment of the Renewables, Oil &Gas, Refinery or Chemical market. In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Provide technical sales support for Sulzer’s Separation Technology Products.

  • Provide a contract administration function with back-office activities to manage enquiries and orders for specific product areas.

  • Preparation and negotiation of sales proposals.

  • Support for the sales team by the provision of high quality, timely response to any enquiries generated.

  • Liaison with key (internal) suppliers with respect to pricing and delivery lead times etc.

  • Contract review and management of projects (as required) from bid stage through purchase order to final delivery, including contractual communications with customers (internal and external) in compliance with quality manual.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A technical background or affinity with industrial technical solutions and willing to learn.

  • Awareness of commercial systems and procedures including terms of the contracts, logistics, and documentation.

  • Experience in technical sales and familiarity with CAD software.

  • Familiarity with the use of customer relationship management systems.

  • Relationship management skills.

  • Some experience within the process engineering industries and relevant industry standards would be beneficial.

  • Regular visits to customers, sales meetings, and Sulzer offices, as necessary, will be anticipated/expected.

  • To be fluent in English as a must have and professional proficiency in Dutch or German is a pro.

Location:
We are based in Breda, which is a great place to live and work. Located in the central south of the Netherlands, the cozy city center of Breda is within an hour of travel from Rotterdam and Antwerp and therefore a practical place to work from. In this job you will be visiting clients, working with your colleagues in the Sulzer Chemtech Breda office and partly working from home as well.
