We are now seeking a Sales Leader to define, shape, and deliver the growth and strategic direction of our Services & Aftermarket business throughout the UK & Ireland. This is a high-impact role where you’ll bring your market expertise, industry insight, and commercial acumen to unlock opportunities, influence strategy, and ensure sustainable growth across our full portfolio.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Drive business development initiatives across the entire Sulzer Water & Industry Services & Aftermarket portfolio.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them navigate challenges and harness our technology to deliver solutions.
  • Develop deep insight into the competitor landscape and use this to shape commercial decisions and strategy.
  • Influence the future of Sulzer products and services through thought leadership, innovative ideas, and strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Create and deliver a clear roadmap of initiatives aligned with company goals, regularly tracking progress and impact.
  • Mentor colleagues, support training, lead campaigns, and actively contribute to product enhancement

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Deep domain expertise within Utility and Industry segments.
  • Extensive relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers in the sector.
  • Strong understanding of commercial modelling, valuation, and the regulatory environment.
  • Proven business insight with the ability to make sound, timely decisions that deliver results.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable solutions.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to influence across non-hierarchical structures.
  • Strong role-modelling of company values and principles.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Strong knowledge of Sulzer’s products and services.
  • An entrepreneurial and commercial mindset with the ability to spot and develop opportunities.
  • Experience building and leading high-value customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with intellectual curiosity and an innovative spirit.
  • Familiarity with new analytical tools and data-driven workflows.
