Location: UK-wide rotational placements across the UK sites , potential for international travel and the possibility of an international placement

Overview  

 
Our two-year Engineering & Technical Graduate Programme offers a structured rotational placement across Sulzer’s UK facilities, giving you broad exposure to our core engineering functions: 

  • Design Engineering 

  • Process & Industrial Engineering 

  • Project Delivery 

  • Operational Excellence 

You’ll be part of transformative projects aligned with our facility of the future strategy—working on real-world challenges, supported by experienced engineers, formal mentoring, and structured development tailored to your goals. 

 

What You Will Be Doing 

 

  • Deliver engineered solutions for rotating equipment 

  • Identify and recommend process improvements and emerging technologies 

  • Support capital investment cases to improve productivity and competitiveness 

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to manage project milestones and risks 

  • Provide technical support across Sulzer’s UK operations 

  • Developing a depth of technical knowledge and commercial awareness 

  • Gaining strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement skills 

  • Exposure to global technologies and senior leadership 

  • Lean training (White, Yellow, Green Belt) 

  • Access to Sulzer Learning Pathways and enrichment modules with a structured learning plan that incorporates the IMech UK Spec 

  • Developing Skills and Knowledge in Engineering design for manufacturing and assembly 

 

What You Bring 

 

  • A 2:2 or above in mechanical, industrial, or any other related engineering degree  

  • Passion for innovation and problem-solving 

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 

  • Flexibility to travel across UK sites 

  • A valid passport
