Global Product Manager Screening - Full Time

At Sulzer, we're seeking a visionary Product Manager to provide global support and growth for our full screening and pre-treatment product ranges, across Nordic Water, JWC Environmental etc, with a passion for driving global growth and innovation for our Water and Industrial business unit. In this pivotal role, you'll be the driving force behind developing screenings product portfolio globally, managing product related growth and profitability initiatives.

 

 

The role can be based at any of our European Operations.

 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

  • Develop successful strategies and drive implementation of product plans for the screenings and pre-treatment product range, optimize utilization of the complete product portfolio to our markets.
  • Support a cross functional collaborative and creative climate with our product development function, sales companies, operations, and other key stake holders.
  • Collect, identify, and evaluate product gaps in portfolio to propose and prioritize new initiatives based on business cases, solid understanding of markets, regulatory and competitor trends, customer insights and technology developments.
  • Project management and participation in initiatives and business development projects to secure sustainable profitable growth on key markets.
  • Be the product communication champion to drive internal and external communication through close co-operation with product champions and local Product managers.
  • Support pricing for products and spares, cooperating with the dedicated pricing teams, including pricing revisions and analysis.
  • Follow the key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure performance for the portfolio and suggest counter measures where necessary.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

  • Five years of work experience with local product management, global product management, product portfolio management or similar.
  • Ideally a proven track record in screening/pre-treatment products for municipal and industrial sector, with an interest and understanding of technical products and water treatment solutions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in an international matrix organization.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English.
  • Self-starter, hands-on attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
