We are looking for a/an Manufacturing Manager  to join our Services_AME  team in United States .

 


 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

•    Supervise and provide counsel for a staff of direct reports, who in turn supervise approximately 50 coworkers.Oversees the execution of manufacturing schedules, personnel requirements, and the application of production standards        
•    Supervises all direct labor staff in assigned departments through Area Superintendents        
•    Assists in carrying production at lowest cost consistent with Sulzer quality requirements.        
•    Provides a safe work environment by ensuring coworkers have necessary tools, resources, and direction to safely perform their jobs.  Hold coworkers     accountable for     working safely.        
•    Supervises maintenance and installation of all equipment used in area of responsibility. 
•    Regular and reliable attendance        
•    Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and EHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort.        
•    Performs other duties as necessary        

 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

•    Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and/or experience
•    Solid knowledge in business and manufacturing operations and planning
•    Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
•    Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
•    Minimum 7 years of experience with pumps or similar equipment preferred
•    Onsite work is an essential function of the job.
•    Experience with lean principles of manufacturing preferred.
