Logistics Coordinator - Full Time - Barboursville (WV), United States

We are looking for a/an Logistics Coordinator to join our Services_AME team in United States .
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Expedite outsourced case machining work orders through production support areas including: Quality Assurance, Machine Shop, Warehouse, Quality Control, Purchasing, and Shipping/Receiving.
- Track purchase orders to maintain on time delivery from outsource vendors and consolidate for management review.
- Focus on prioritization through communication with outsource vendors to mitigate delays of outsourced jobs.
- Consolidate plant wide Lean improvements into a concise and cohesive form and post
on the SD board. - Conduct meetings to maintain, update and distribute daily the schedule and action
plan for the SPUSA-Enbridge recovery team. - Ensure Case Machining bay has the work orders required for continuous uninterrupted
workflow. - Record job/machine maintenance issues and generate monthly summary reports and
analytical graphs. - Distribute weekly machining schedules to management and production personnel.
Compile detailed presentations highlighting and/or discussing Lean processes
throughout the plant. - Facilitate training and event planning.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Associates degree is required.
- Ability to be well organized with the capability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience with expediting, logistics handling, or project coordination.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and flexible.
- Onsite work is an essential function of the job.
