QC Engineer - Full Time - BalikpapanIndonesia

We are looking for a/an QC Engineer  to join our Services_EAPA  team in Indonesia .
 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the production supervisor
  • Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
  • Approve incoming materials/parts (from vendor) by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting unacceptable materials/parts
  • Ensure that all parameters have meet the quality standards specified in Quality Plan/Inspection Test Plan and/or contract and/or customer expectations, not only at the end of process but also on between process.
  • Record each found defect and report it to the QA to follow up on the NC Report.
  • Review and approve all document that required in the QP/ITP
  • Review and approve Turbo Doc.
  • Conduct witnesses and assessments to vendors if required. 
  • Accompany the customer during witness if required.
  • Be ready for field assignment if required.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, attending seminars, watching industry videos, etc.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Mechanical background with intensive experience 3 years in inspection and or disassembly-reassembly jobs of Turbo machinery equipment (Gas turbine, Steam turbine, Centrifugal compressor, Pump.)
  • Able to review and analyze technical inspection reports, make decision and must not to be influenced by other parties.
  • Familiar with international standard related to rotating equipment such as ISO and API.
  • Able to provide reports, reporting any findings at all follow up jobs.

  • Willingness & ability to travel
  • Proficient in English language, written & verbal
  • Knowledge to read manufacturing and cross-sectional drawings are a must.
