Are you ready to take the lead in a key finance role? We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our Norwegian Finance team. In this exciting position, you’ll play a vital role in managing financial operations for the entity, shaping strategy, driving decision-making, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting activities, directly ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of financial operations.
  • Take responsibility for project controlling, providing hands-on insights to keep projects on track.
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial support, both qualitative and quantitative, for the Legal Entity.
  • Act as a Strategic Partner to the Management Team, offering direct financial guidance to support key decision-making.
  • Benchmark financial performance against prior years, budget, and forecast, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Identify and manage business risks and opportunities, driving proactive solutions through direct involvement.
  • Resolve ERP and operational process gaps, taking the lead in implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare and deliver consolidated reporting, ensuring accurate and timely updates for stakeholders.
  • Lead and directly manage the business planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, contributing to financial strategy and growth.
  • Oversee and manage the fixed assets ledger and CAPEX control, ensuring effective resource management.
  • Ensure compliance with Sulzer’s Internal Control Systems, maintaining operational standards through direct actions.
  • Complete government statistical reports, tax filings, and statutory accounts, ensuring legal compliance.

To Succeed in This Role:

  • University degree in Finance or Controlling.
  • At least 5 years of experience in senior finance or accounting roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial analysis, IFRS, and Local GAAP.
  • Strong knowledge of Norwegian accounting standards and regulations is essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, with strong financial modelling and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly articulate financial insights.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, and professionalism in all financial activities.
  • Advanced negotiating skills, commercial awareness, assertiveness, and the ability to influence others effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing business environments.
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian.
