Process Engineer m/f

Join us to strengthen our Process Engineering Team in Allschwil (Basel area, Switzerland).

 

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Process design of equipment and units for the thermal separation, especially for systems
  • Technical support of Sales and APT, especially for systems
  • Performance of basic engineering work (process)
  • Project management with technical and commercial responsibility for engineering projects (e.g. studies)
  • Support commissioning and optimization of units for thermal separation
  • Preparation of Basic Engineering documents
  • Reviewing of Detail Engineering documents
  • Sizing of Sulzer proprietary equipment
  • Takes ownership for improvement and development of the technology - in coordination with R&D
  • Responsible for the Sulzer process in project teams and towards our clients
  • Participation in client meetings, support and advisory service at client’s site
  • Start-up supervision of our chemical plants
  • Analysis and evaluation of comprehensive data from our pilot plants
  • Travelling approx. 30%

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

You have a university degree in process, chemical engineering and looking forward to contribute with your talent and engagement to a well-established team of process engineers. You have at least 5 years of experience in plant/equipment design and knowledge on separation technologies. You will work in a core discipline of engineering, play a key role in project teams and maintain regular contact to our international client base. You like to travel and spend time abroad for meetings and commissioning. You are fluent in English, German is a plus. Moreover, you are able to adapt to people in other disciplines and various cultures. Your colleagues appreciate your hands-on personality with a passion for engineering works and process design.

Location: We are based in Allschwil. This is a great growing place and is just next to the nice city of Basel, accessible via bus and tram.
