Join our Process Plants team within Chemtech division in Allschwil Switzerland as Process Engineer (m/f).
In this role you will be accountable for:
- Process design of equipment and units for separation processes, especially for systems with high complexity
- Technical support to Applications & Technology engineers in the bidding phase
- Performance of basic engineering work (process)
- Project management with technical and commercial responsibility for engineering projects (e.g. studies)
- Support commissioning and optimization of units for thermal separation
- Preparation of Basic Engineering documents and review of detailed engineering documents
- Sizing of Sulzer proprietary equipment
- Taking ownership for improvement and development of the technology - in coordination with R&D
- Responsible for the Sulzer process scope in project teams and towards our clients
- Participation in client meetings, support and advisory service at client’s site
- Start-up supervision of our chemical plants
- Analysis and evaluation of comprehensive data from our pilot plants
To succeed in this role:
- University degree in process or chemical engineering and looking forward to contribute with your talent and engagement to a well-established team of process engineers
- At least 5 years of experience in plant/equipment design and knowledge on separation technologies
- Passion to work in a core discipline of engineering, play a key role in project teams and maintain regular contact to our international client base
- Enjoy to travel and spend time abroad for meetings and commissioning (global travelling approx. 30%)
- Fluent in English and preferably in German language
- You are able to adapt to people in other disciplines and various cultures

Location: We are based in Allschwil. This is a great place just next to the nice city of Basel, accessible via bus and tram.
