Join our Process Engineering team within Chemtech division in Switzerland as Process Designer (m/f) to help us take our client's experience to the next level. 

 

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Development and maintenance of P&IDs design standards
  • Understanding of process engineering needs and interfacing with engineering disciplines
  • P&ID intelligent drafting in CADWorx (or other similar programs)
  • Responsible for P&ID database and incorporating inputs from other departments
  • Preparation, production and checking of P&IDs, but also of other process design drawings such as Block Flow Diagrams, PFDs, etc.
  • Ensuring the compliance with industry, international and Client codes and standards
  • Working with lead engineers to maintain and develop the company’s quality standards
  • Checking of drawings/ documents with QA standards & procedures

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

You have a Bachelor in mechanical engineering or any equivalent education and have a very good knowledge of process drafting especially of piping components. You are used to computer-aided design and drafting programs, such as CADWorx P&ID, Plant 3D P&ID or any other intelligent P&ID Program. You are bringing with you at least 5 years of experience in the Chemical or Oil and Gas industry. You are fluent in German and can speak English, French is a plus. As a person, you have excellent organizational skills, are flexible in change management processes and are able to work with different internal as well as external stakeholders (clients, Project Managers, engineers from other disciplines...).

Location: We are based in Allschwil. This is a great growing place and is just next to the nice city of Basel, accessible via bus and tram.
