[[Laboratory Technician]] - [[m/w]] - [[Full-time]][[Allschwil, Switzerland]]

Join our Test Center team in Allschwil to contribute on the client satisfaction and experience.   

 

In this role you will provide support in customer tests and be responsible for analytical labs tasks:

  • Perform characterization analysis such as GC, GC-MS, Headspace GC, UV-VIS spectophotometer, titeration, HPLC, water content, density, viscosity, etc.
  • Develop and implement analytical methods
  • Support the execution of internal and external test projects for the development and optimization of process technologies
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the analytical laboratory
  • Act as Instrument Expert, responsible for analytical equipment (i.e. maintenance and qualification of the systems, internal or external, and making sure that the systems are functioning correctly)
  • Cooperate in the implementation of measures regarding Safety and Environment

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Basic degree in applied chemistry/chemical technologies or laboratory technician apprenticeship training
  • Further education in GC-MS, HPLC, development of analytic methods for HPLC/GC-MS
  • At least 3 years of experience in Analytical Chemistry and process laboratory environment
  • Very good knowledge in German and English, both oral and written. Further languages are beneficial
  • Good knowledge of IT tools especially in Analysis software
  • Ability to solve complex problems, work on multiple projects, work independently
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, team player and customer-oriented

Location: We are based in Allschwil. This is a great growing place and is just next to the nice city of Basel, accessible via bus and tram.
