Design Engineer Plant Engineering (m/w) - Full Time - AllschwilSwitzerland

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Preparation of P&ID’s for chemical, wastewater and pharmaceutical production
  • Specification of manual valves and pipe material based on project specifications
  • Creation of 3D equipment supports including definition of nozzle orientations on equipment
  • Design of steel structure specification drawings including grating drawings
  • Specification of steel structures according to project specifications
  • Piping design up to isometrics, including support concept and bill of material
  • Technical support of purchasing in the procurement of pipe material and pipe fittings
  • Interface coordination to the departments: project management, equipment design, MSR planning, purchasing and plant assembly
  • Monitoring of schedule, cost and hours within Plant design department as supports for team lead.

 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

You have a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in the field of plant planning and fabrication in an international environment. Preferrably you have a technical degree or an equivalent education in mechanical or electrical engineering. A team player attitude and communication skills are essential. You are customer focused with advanced analytical skills and we expect excellent English and good German skills.

Location: We are based in Allschwil. This is a great growing place and is just next to the nice city of Basel, accessible via bus and tram.
