Procurement & Logistics Manager - Full Time - Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia

We are looking for a/an Procurement & Logistics Manager  to join our CT_MTCS  team in Saudi Arabia . 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Procurement Management: Lead the procurement process, including sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to secure quality materials, labor, and services at competitive prices. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

 

  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, and inventory management, to ensure seamless movement of materials and timely delivery to project sites. Optimize logistics processes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

 

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, fostering collaboration and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise. Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives as needed.

 

  • Cost Control and Budget Management: Monitor procurement and logistics costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Manage budgets for procurement and logistics activities, ensuring adherence to overall financial targets and project specific targets.

 

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain, such as supplier shortages or transportation delays, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks. Ensure business continuity and minimize impact on project timelines.

 

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and logistics processes, implementing best practices and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Work experience: 5-8 years experience in procurement and logistics management, preferably in the construction, engineering, or manufacturing industry.

 

  • Expertise (e.g. professional, technical):   Demonstrated track record of successful procurement and logistics operations.  Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems (SAP), and logistics management tools. Knowledge of procurement regulations and international trade practices.

 

  • Education: Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Other education levels may be considered if compensated by professional experience and certifications.

 

  • Languages: Proficiency in verbal and written English Required. Verbal competency in Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic are a plus.

 

  • Soft skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute procurement and logistics strategies aligned with organizational objectives

 

  • Other: Ability to travel to various project sites as required.
