We are looking for a/an Document Controller MTCS Document Controller MTCS  to join our CT_MTCS (Mass Transfer Components & Services) team in Saudi Arabia .

 

Purpose of the job:

The Document Controller will be responsible for managing all key project documentation flow within Sulzer’s Tower Field Services and Mass Transfer Components business. This includes handling both inflow and outflow of critical documents, maintaining accurate records, setting reminders for document submissions, and ensuring that all documentation adheres to project requirements and specifications. The Document Controller will also be responsible for understanding and complying with document submission formats and utilizing the correct submission portals as outlined by project guidelines and customer specifications.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

Documentation Management

  • Manage the inflow and outflow of key project documents, ensuring that all required documentation is received, processed, and submitted on time.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all documentation, including versions, revisions, approvals, returns, and submission dates.
  • Set reminders and follow up on pending or overdue documents to ensure timely submission.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure that all documentation complies with applicable project specifications and customer requirements.
  • Read, interpret, and execute document submission formats and guidelines, ensuring that all submissions are properly formatted and meet the necessary criteria.
  • KPI: Compliance with customer and project documentation standards, measured by feedback and customer approval rates of Sulzer transmittals.
  • Portal and Submission Management
  • Utilize applicable document submission portals and platforms as required by project guidelines.
  • Ensure all document uploads and submissions are correctly completed and in the proper formats.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure all documentation requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders (customers, vendors) as necessary to clarify document requirements and submission formats.
  • KPI: Effective communication, measured by feedback from internal and external stakeholders. 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

  • 2 years of experience in document control, general administration, or project administration roles, preferably within the oil & gas or refining sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of document management processes and systems, with experience using document submission platforms.
  • General Certificate of Secondary Education.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Soft skills: Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, proactive in managing deadlines, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

 

This position is open in Saudi Arabia Al-Jubail at Tower Field Services (TFS) Chemtech.
