Application & Sales engineer (Upstream market) - Full Time - Abu DhabiUnited Arab Emirates

 

Join our CT_MTCS  team within Chemtech division in United Arab Emirates as Application & Sales engineer (Upstream market).

 

Purpose of the job is to support upstream team by preparing technical and commercial offers based on Sulzer design guidelines and client specs.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Prepare technical and commercial quotations; 
  • Prepare costing as per Sulprice/ CRM or other necessary tools;
  • Attend technical clarification meetings;
  • Attend and deliver technical sales presentations;
  • Technical appendix negotiation;
  • Support sales team on contract preparation / negotiation and risk control;
  • Carry-out vessel and column hydraulic designs using proprietary Sulzer software;
  • Monitor / update project status in system (Sulprice/ CRM) regularly;
  • Internal handover meeting preparation;
  • Assist Sales Department for pre-order technical information as required by customer; 
  • When needed, contribute towards preparation of weekly/monthly reports to communicate local business performance against targets;
  • Participate in and actively support company initiatives;
  • All other duties as relevant to the post and assigned by APT manager/ Team leader.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor degree in chemical engineering; 
  • Master degree in relevant field would be a plus;
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ work experience as chemical engineer / process engineer;
  • Interest to become a specialist in mass transfer (all trainings will be provided by Sulzer);
  • Good technical knowledge in Oil and Gas processes;
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written is a must;
  • Attention to details;
  • Able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • General computer skills (Microsoft Office).
