We are looking for a Storesperson to join our GT Aero Services team in Aberdeen.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Carry out stores duties, ensuring full traceability of all items and correct processing of paperwork
  • Check materials against documentation and prepare items for despatch, including packing and preservation
  • Co-ordinate material movements with departments and transport reps while maintaining stock accuracy
  • Perform stock audits and support external audit activities
  • Operate forklifts safely and contribute to a clean, well-organised working environment

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience in a similar stores or logistics role, ideally within engineering or manufacturing
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Adaptability and a proactive attitude to continuous improvement
  • Dynamics 365 experience is desirable
  • Forklift truck licence is desirable
