Our revamped facility now expertly handles the overhaul of electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and turbo-compressors, supporting key sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Renewables.
We are excited to announce a newly created role at our Aberdeen Service Centre for a Quality Inspector. This position is essential for driving quality and continuous improvement throughout our operations. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Manage and maintain all quality-related documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal protocols.
- Oversee the 8D reporting process, facilitating problem-solving and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate and manage the calibration of tools and equipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to required specifications.
- Ensure all certifications are current and compliant with relevant standards, including ISO and industry-specific requirements.
- Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing products and components, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Previous experience in a quality-focused role, ideally within the engineering or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards, and processes.
- Excellent organizational and document management skills.
- Proficiency in managing 8D reports and implementing corrective actions.
- Familiarity with calibration processes and certification requirements.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
