Quality & Continuous Improvement Lead - Full Time - AberdeenUnited Kingdom

This is a newly created opportunity to lead at a site that has recently undergone a major transformation, positioning itself as a key hub for the overhaul of motors, pumps, gearboxes, and turbo-compressors. Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and management of quality systems, audit compliance, and customer requirements at our Ellon Service Centre
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues through structured root cause analysis, implementing robust corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement using LEAN methodology, working closely with operational leadership
  • Own and deliver the internal audit programme and support third-party and customer audits
  • Monitor supplier performance and work with procurement to ensure conformance and drive improvements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised qualification in mechanical engineering or strong industry experience in rotating equipment or industrial services
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO9001 and quality management systems
  • Experience leading LEAN and CI projects with advanced problem-solving tools
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills
  • Understanding of repair methods, materials, and supplier quality management
