As a QC Inspector, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and precision of gas turbine components.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough inspections throughout the various stages of component receipt, bulk strip, detail, and final build
  • Using advanced measuring equipment such as calipers, gauges, micrometres, and Faro Arm for precise assessments (training provided if necessary)
  • Collaborating with quality engineers to troubleshoot and manage quality-related matters
  • Maintaining meticulous inspection documentation standards
  • Displaying proficiency in quality processes, measuring tools, and dimensional reporting
  • Liaising with project engineers to ensure seamless communication and workflow

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a related industry, with previous QC inspection exposure
  • Familiarity with industrial gas turbines and/or power turbines (preferred)
  • Proficiency in interpreting illustrated parts catalogues and engineering drawings
  • Flexibility, teamwork mentality, and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Impeccable attention to detail
