As a QC Inspector, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and precision of gas turbine components.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough inspections throughout the various stages of component receipt, bulk strip, detail, and final build
- Using advanced measuring equipment such as calipers, gauges, micrometres, and Faro Arm for precise assessments (training provided if necessary)
- Collaborating with quality engineers to troubleshoot and manage quality-related matters
- Maintaining meticulous inspection documentation standards
- Displaying proficiency in quality processes, measuring tools, and dimensional reporting
- Liaising with project engineers to ensure seamless communication and workflow
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a related industry, with previous QC inspection exposure
- Familiarity with industrial gas turbines and/or power turbines (preferred)
- Proficiency in interpreting illustrated parts catalogues and engineering drawings
- Flexibility, teamwork mentality, and the ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Impeccable attention to detail
