We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Fitter to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will meticulously repair and overhaul gas and power turbines, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks including receipt, bulk strip, detail strip, sub-assembly, and final build of industrial gas turbines and power turbines.
  • Identify and report critical out-of-tolerance measurements and non-conforming issues.
  • Accurately complete all build paperwork and submit it for final review before the engine/part leaves the building.
  • Assist in completing Non-conformance reporting as needed.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in the repair and overhaul of gas turbines, power turbines, and associated accessories is required. We are also open to individuals with experience in diesel mechanics due to the transferable skills.
  • A meticulous approach to recording critical fits and clearances, with precise completion of all relevant documentation.
  • Proficiency in the safe and correct use of specialised tooling and equipment, with prompt maintenance and reporting of any issues.
  • Willingness to undertake both on-site and offshore work, with flexibility to work additional hours as required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with workshop supervisors, lead hands, and team members.
  • Strong communication skills to ensure clear reporting, documentation, and effective teamwork.
