Join Sulzer Services UK & Nordics , a renowned leader in fluid engineering, with a century-long tradition of excellence in maintaining, repairing, and optimising rotating equipment critical to industries such as oil & gas, power generation, and renewables. As part of our commitment to operational excellence and sustainability, we are looking for a dedicated ESH Specialist to help us uphold the highest standards in Environment, Safety, and Health across our northern region.

 

Our Aberdeen and Falkirk Service Centres are strategically vital to Sulzer Services. Aberdeen is a hub for offshore oil & gas support, while Falkirk is our Centre of Excellence for High Voltage motor repairs—together, they represent a critical part of our UK operation, serving major customers and contributing significantly to our success.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Provide ESH support across our northern region, covering Aberdeen, Falkirk, and the Nordic Service Centres (Norway & Denmark)
  • Act as a key member of the Services UK & Nordics ESH team, helping drive continuous improvement and regional ESH objectives
  • Ensure full compliance with legal, corporate, and customer-specific ESH requirements
  • Support investigations, audits, risk assessments and training initiatives
  • Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness across all levels of the organisation
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to implement proactive and practical ESH solutions
  • Monitor performance and deliver data-driven insights to guide future improvements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in ESH within an industrial environment
  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent as a minimum
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
  • Willingness to travel on occasion to our Nordic Service Centres (infrequently)
