Customer Support Manager - Full Time - Aberdeen, United Kingdom

In light of a recent lucrative contract, Sulzer Aberdeen is actively seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Customer Support Manager. As a key member of our team, you will lead a dedicated Contract team with a focus on exceeding monthly targets in areas such as order intake, sales, gross profit (GP), and service delivery. This strategic position is pivotal in driving the continued success and growth of our company, aligning with our core business objectives. Join us and be part of our journey towards excellence!
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Direct Contract Support and Technical teams to meet client requirements and deadlines.
- Assess and mentor individual team members for performance improvement.
- Communicate regularly with clients for updates and identify prospects for future service business.
- Manage customer contracts, ensuring compliance, and propose technical/commercial improvements aligned with Sulzer’s capabilities
- Examine present and anticipated client needs concerning services and market conditions.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a role that provides strategic direction across Technical and Commercial teams within an engineering / manufacturing setting.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Solid technical knowledge of rotating machinery and systems.
- Robust commercial awareness.
