Our Turbo Services division is at the heart of supporting critical industries such as oil & gas, power generation, and industrial operations. With over 100 skilled professionals onsite, we provide expert repair and maintenance services that keep essential machinery running.

 

Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity for a Customer Support Manager to take responsibility for our Turbo Services support team, ensuring seamless service delivery and strong customer relationships

 

What you’ll do

  • Manage and mentor a team of Customer Support Engineers and Technical Focal Points to meet client requirements and company targets.
  • Act as the key liaison with customers, providing work-in-progress updates and uncovering opportunities for future service business.
  • Identify reliability or service life issues and propose technical and commercial improvements aligned with Sulzer’s Turbo Services capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with customer contracts, KPIs, and legal/commercial requirements.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility using SAP and Salesforce systems.
  • Promote Sulzer’s Turbo Services portfolio to strengthen our market position.

 

What we’re looking for

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills – you’ll be the key link between Sulzer and our customers.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Turbo machinery and systems, with a focus on centrifugal compression.
  • Proven ability to manage customer contracts, KPIs, and compliance requirements.
  • Commercial awareness and experience in a similar role, ideally within rotating equipment or turbomachinery services.
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members, driving performance and capability.
  • Skilled in using ERP (preferably SAP) and CRM (preferably Salesforce) systems for accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
  • A proactive approach to identifying reliability issues and proposing technical and commercial improvements.
  • Ideally, HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline
